Telephone: (209)858-0101 <br /> Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00052669 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> ON THE 17TH OR 18TH AT AROUND 10:00 AM, COMPLAINANT PURCHASED TURKEY NECKS WITH RED SPICE. <br /> COMPLAINANT TOOK THE MEAT HOME AND TO PREPARE THEM. THE MEAT SMELLED BAD. <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> We talked to Gerald G.who not aware of complaint prior to this investigation. <br /> We spoke to the meat manager who said turkey necks are cut and placed in the refrigeration case in the meat section.Turkey <br /> necks are rarely received, and only kept for maximum of three days. <br /> There were no turkey necks on site at time of inspection. <br /> We observed the refrigeration where the turkey necks would be displayed.
