The Scott San Joaquin County Regional Composting Facility (SSJCRCF) is owned by <br /> the O.M. Scotts & Sons Company, located at 23390 Flood Road, Linden, California. <br /> This facility was initially permitted on December 12, 1994. The 22-acre compost <br /> facility is located on 75-acre site. The facility is permitted to accept 500 tons per day <br /> and operates Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The facility <br /> accepts green waste for process and bagging which is sold at retail level to the general <br /> public. <br /> 1. Report of Compost Site Information(RCSI)dated on February, 1994 allows all yard trimmings <br /> arriving at the Facility will be processed within seventy two(72)hours of arrival. <br /> 2. Land Use Permit SA-93-41 allows materials (excluding severe weather or other natural disasters) <br /> arriving at the facility will be processed within seventy two(72)hours of their arrival and high <br /> nitrogen materials, such as grass, will be processed within forty eight(48)hours. <br /> II. On June 26, 2001, SSJCRCF submitted Amendment to RCSI to the LEA to increase: <br /> 1. Yard trimming storage time from seventy two(72)hours to fifteen(15)days; <br /> 2. Trafc flow from twenty(20)vehicles per day to thirty(30)vehicles per day. <br /> JIl. On August 2, 2001, phone conversation with Chandler Martin from San Joaquin <br /> County Community Development Department (SJC-CDD) stated the proposed traffic y <br /> flow is consistent with the land use description.
