Union St <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> Dear Mr. Cortez: <br /> This letter indicates San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) approval of <br /> drawings submitted for the proposed Antojitos Mexicanos, subject to the following <br /> condition(s): <br /> 1. Obtain a Insignia from the State Housing and Community Development. Their phone <br /> number is 916-255-2501 . <br /> 2. Entrance doors to food preparation area and service openings shall be self-closing. <br /> (CRFC Section 114303) <br /> 3. Floors shall be constructed of approved materials and shall be impervious, smooth, <br /> easily cleanable, and provide employee safety from slipping. The floor/wall juncture shall <br /> be coved with a minimum 3/8 inch radius and the floor surface shall extend up the wall <br /> at least four inches. (Vinyl rubber top-set base is not acceptable material). Equipment <br /> shall be sealed to the floor or raised 6 inches off the floor by means of easily cleanable <br /> legs or feet. (CRFC Section 114301) Provide sample of mateial and specifiaction <br /> sheets and installation drawings. <br /> 4. Walls and ceilings shall be constructed so surfaces are impervious, smooth and <br /> cleanable. (CRFC Section 114301) <br /> 5. The handwashing and food preparation sinks shall be separated from the warewashing <br /> sink or food preparation / storage areas by a metal splash guard, if separation is less <br /> than twenty-four (24) inches. Splash guard shall be at least six (6) inches in height from <br /> back edge to front edge [CRFC §113953]. <br /> 6. Light bulbs and tubes shall be covered and completely enclosed in plastic safety shields <br /> or the equivalent. (CRFC Section 114323) <br /> 1868 E.
