Alaniz, John [EHD]
From: Hieb, Kathy@Wildlife <Kathy.Hieb@wildlife.ca.gov>
Sent: Thursday, November 5, 2020 1:30 PM
To: Alaniz, John [EHD]
Subject: Return to Compliance Certificate and Corrective Action Statements - CDFW, 2109 Arch-
Airport Road, Stockton
Attachments: HMBP_ReturntoComplianceCertificate_03Nov2020.pdf, HazWaste_Label Lab 1 jpg;
HazWaste_LabelLab2 jpg; HazWaste_Label_Shop1 jpg; HazWaste_Label_Shop3 jpg
CAUTION:This email is originated from outside of the organization. Hazardous Waste Label for the formalin waste containers, not includes the physical state. All 24 of our waste
formalin containers are labeled as in this photo.
2. General Hazardous Waste Label for the formalin waste containers was replaced if missing or illegible. This is an
example for one container. All 24 of our waste formalin containers are labeled as in this photo.
3. Hazardous Waste Label for the container in the shop for used paint and oil.
4. Hazardous Waste Label for the container in the shop for oily rags and related.
5. Hazardous Waste Label for the container a second container in the shop for oily rags and related.
Can we mix paint and oil in a Hazardous Waste container? I ask because I thought that one container in the shop was
for paint, one for use oil and hydraulic fluid, the third for oily rags. However, one container is now labeled for paint and
oil and two for oily rags. Should the used paint be stored in a metal or plastic container? One container is plastic, 2 are
metal, which are best for flammables.
Thank you—
Kathy
California Department of Fish and Wildlife
Bay-Delta Region
2109 Arch-Airport Road,Suite 100
Stockton,CA 95206
209-234-3484-office
209-640-4642-cell
Kathy.Hieb@wildlife.ca.gov
1
