Do not click links or open
attachments unless you recognize the sender and know the content is safe.
Dear Ms Stowers
Application No PA-2000152 (ZR)
I am responding to the notice I received regarding the Zone Reclassification application to change the
2 parcels totaling 25.92 acres on the southwest corner of East Main St and Walker Ln. I am speaking
on behalf of myself and everyone that lives on Walker Lane. I live right next to this property on
Walker Ln by the Mormon Slough bridge, 1515 and 1529 S Walker Ln and my concern as well as
others that live on Walker Lane is the impact that this is going to have on the traffic and the safety of
the traffic that will be utilizing Walker Ln. As you move forward with this process we would like you to
include some sont of traffic study and possibly work with the County to make sure safety measures
are implemented on Walker Ln as the traffic flow increases and will increase do to more structures
being built. Walker Lane between Main Street and Highway 4 has become a main artery for people
to access the 99 since they opened the new interchange back in 2016. The volume of our traffic has
increased significantly and has become more and more dangerous. I have been working with the
county traffic department to implement changes on our road to help make it safer but these measures
are not enough as the traffic increases and will continue to do so as many more structures are built
here. I have notified the County of my concerns also. Please feel free to reach out to me if
necessary. 209 481-9081
Thank you
Carolyn Lopez
Sent from my iPad
i
PA-2000152 (ZR) Informational Letters 32
