Telephone: (209)466-2751 <br /> Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00051557 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THEY CONSUMED SHRIMP FROM THIS FACILITY A MONTH AGO AND BECAME ILL. <br /> ALLEGES THEY CAN'T BREATHE AT NIGHT AND THEY FEEL LIKE THEY HAVE FLUID IN THEIR LUNGS <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Upon arrival, I spoke with the store director in regards to the complaint in order to verify if any other similar complaints have <br /> been brought to thier attention. The store director stated no complaints in general have arose, especially a complaint of the <br /> similar nature. Store director stated all products are still coming from the same distributor,with no recall for any of the shrimp <br /> products being sold.The shrimp is delivered in boxes and from the box is thrown into the retail freezer to be picked out by the <br /> consumer. I spoke with the manager of the seafood section and they stated there is little to no contact with the shrimp from <br /> workers besides the box being thrown into a container which houses the raw shrimp.
