The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for SMART TECH DIESEL REPAIR as of December 08, 2020. <br /> Open violations from October 15, 2020 inspection <br /> Violation#114-Failed to keep signed copy of manifests from the designated facility for three years. <br /> OBSERVATION: Designated facility signed and dated copies of Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests (UHWM) <br /> were not found on-site. The missing manifests are: 006148482GBF(5/16/2019), 006239883GBF(7/9/2019), <br /> 006453570GBF(1/16/2020), 006454037GBF (2/20/2020), 006453809GBF (4/9/2020), 021823827JJK(7/9/2020), <br /> and 021824109JJK(8/24/2020). <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall keep a copy of each manifest signed in accordance <br /> with section 66262.23(a)for three years or until the generator receives a signed copy from the designated facility <br /> which received the waste. This signed copy shall be retained as a record for at least three years from the date the <br /> waste was accepted by the initial transporter. The hazardous waste generator must submit an exception report to <br /> the California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)within 45 days if the destination facility signed <br /> manifest copy is not received from the transporter or designated facility. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Locate the the destination facility signed manifests listed above and maintain in the facility <br /> file for three years from the date of shipping.
