CalRecycle <br />Closed Disposal Site Inspection Report (188) <br />THE ABOVE FACILITY WAS INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE SEC MS OF THE DMSION 3D OF THE PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE (PRC) MID TITLE 14 MID TITLE 27 CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS (CCR) I <br />- Site Maintenance <br />Comments: The areas around wells (VW -5, VW -6, VW -4, VW -7, VW -8 and VW -2) were surrounded and covered <br />by thick vegetation and were not accessible for inspection. This issue has been an ongoing problem (First time <br />an AC was given on 6/29/2011). Continuation of Violation from the last inspection. Entire site was covered by <br />overgrown vegetation. <br />The locks on VW -5, EW -2 did not function as intended. <br />Front gate did not function as intended. <br />a. Operator should maintain the vegetation at a minimum so that site inspection could easily be conducted and to <br />prevent surface fires from taking place which could cause a threat to public health and safety and the <br />environment. <br />b. Replace the lock on VW -5, EW -2 and check/replace locks on all wells if needed. <br />c. Repair front gate immediately. <br />- Litter Control <br />Observed large pile of concrete and waste tires near fence boundary on the east side of the <br />Remove solid waste from site for legal disposal. <br />Note: <br />A. Concentrations of gas probe measured the following for methane%: <br />3-0.0; VW 10-0.0; VP4-2.1; VP 3-3.4; VP 2— 1.3; VP 1 —0.3. <br />
