Ilemoval Systems, Inc.
® Transfer & Recycling Center
July 22, 1985
Mr. Leland Hall
Director-San Joaquin
Local Health District
Post Office Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201
Re: Transfer Station Facility Permit
Dear Mr. Hall :
In supplement to my letter of June 14, 1985, I would like to
clarify my request for an update of our facility. permit. At the
time our transfer station permit was issued in July, 1980, our
facility was processing 40 to 50 tons per day. However, at the same
time, our new facility was under construction which was designed to i
accommodate 300 tons per day. Since that time, our facility has grown
and has reached peak loading periods exceeding the 300-ton-per-day
capacity. Therefore, we are at the current time planning to further
expand our facility to a capacity of 600 tons per day. The increased
volume, however, does not necessitate significant change in operation
or station design and is consistent with expansion plans included .
in the current permit attached.
Since the Solid Waste Master Plan is presently being reviewed,
I would like to submit this to the Solid Waste Management Board as
soon as possible.
Sincerely,
David Vaccarezza
General Manager
DV:afv
Attachment
.cc: Lori Cotulla
23 1985
ENVIRUwlE.,JAL HEALTH
V ERMIT/SERVICES
1333 East Turner Road / Post office Box 319 1 Lodi, California 952.41 / (209) 369-8274
