Storage time greater <br /> than 90 days. <br /> -Three 55-gallon containers with used diesel observed with no accumulation start date. Operator could not provide <br /> how long waste has been on site. <br /> -Three 55-gallon containers with oily absorbent observed with no accumulation start date. Operator could not <br /> provide how long waste has been on site. <br /> The following was observed in the oily water storage area: <br /> -One 300-gallon tote with oily water observed with no accumulation start date. <br /> -one 300-gallon tote with oily water observed with no hazardous waste label. Operator could not determine how long <br /> waste has been on site. <br /> The following were observed outside adjacent to paint waste storage area: <br /> -One 20-yard bin with paint waste observed with accumulation start date of 7-1-2020. Storage time greater than 90 <br /> days. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> (a)a generator may accumulate hazardous waste on-site for 90 days or less <br /> (b)The beginning of the 90 day period is determined as follows: <br /> (1)if the generator does not generate more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or one kilogram of acutely <br /> hazardous waste(listed in section 66261.33(e))or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any calendar <br /> month, the 90 day period begins on the date the generator has accumulated 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or <br /> one kilogram of acutely hazardous waste or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste; <br /> (2)if the generator generates more than 100 kilograms of hazardous waste or one kilogram of acutely hazardous <br /> waste or one kilogram of extremely hazardous waste during any calendar month,the 90-day period begins on the <br /> first date on which any amount of hazardous waste begins to accumulate during that month. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately dispose of the hazardous waste stored on site greater than 90 days in <br /> compliance with Title 22 California Code of Regulations.
