Then I'll file the new SIP when I
receive it and update the SWIS database noting your comments.
John Macanas (Mac)
CIWMB/CIA Section
(916) 341-6722
-----Original Message-----
From: Ted Tasiopoulos [EH] [mailto:ttasiopoulos@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Wednesday, September 08, 2004 4:27 PM
To: Macanas, John
Subject: CIA site World Enterprises SWIS# 39-CR-0033
Hi John,
I got your message, thanks for the help. I will mail a SIP form and specify on the remarks that we want to bump the
frequency of inspections from annually to quarterly. As of present, the site has methane gas readings that are in
violation. The readings were documented on the inspection report dated July 8th, 2004. Jay Kamine from URS
spoke with me saying the owners want them to install four more gas monitoring probes at varying depths and
locations to collect more data on the migration of the gas. However, we are still requiring them to submit a
remediation plan for the site. I will keep you updated on the progress. Thanks again.
Ted Tasiopoulos, REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
Phone: 209-953-7698
12/7/2004
