S A K J OA Q U I N Environmental Health Department
COUNTY—
GreOtneSS grows hers. Time In: 9:30 am
Time Out: 10:19 am
Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
Name of Facility: LOS HERMANOS MEAT MARKET Date: 11/17/2020
Address: 2202 E FREMONT ST, STOCKTON 95205
Owner/Operator: ACEVEDO,ANA Telephone: (209)946-0344
Program Element: 1600-FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00052934
DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint:
COMPLAINANT STATES THE ROLL UP DOOR FOR THE BAKERY DOES NOT HAVE FLY PROTECTION. FLIES ARE
FLYING IN AND OUT. LOTS OF FLIES. COMPLAINANT OBSERVED FLIES LANDING ON THE CAKES. COMPLAINANT
ALSO STATES IN THE BAKERY AND THE KITCHEN, EMPLOYEES ARE PREPPING FOOD WITHOUT GLOVES AND
SOME WITHOUT MASKS.
VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7;
113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health
and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of
the food facility.
OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS
FOOD ITEM--LOCATION--TEMP°F--COMMENTS
No Temperature Data Collected
NOTES
Complaint inspection.
Upon arrival, I observed the staff on site wearing masks and gloves during food preparation. I then spoke with the manager
on site in which I explained the reason for my visit. The manager stated that the rolling door is opened slightly in order to throw
away garbage and excess cardboard boxes since the disposal area is located towards the rear of the facility. The rolling door
is the closest exit, but the manager continued to state that the door is only open during that time and then immediately closed.
The facility has been trying to obtain an air curtain, however due to the size of the door a custom one must be made in which
the facility has not found someone to complete the task. I explained to provide a screen to prevent pest from entering while
the door is open and to continue to implement pest control. I then explained the importance of wearing a face mask in which
the manager stated all staff are required to wear mask and have their temperatures takenas they enter the facility.
Observed no violations at this time.
Official inspection report emailed.
The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and
Safety Code.If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
Received by: Name and Title:
EH Specialist: VICTOR ACEVEDO Phone: (209)616-3023
FA0015444 C00052934 SCO04 11/17/2020
EHD 16-23 Rev.9/16/2020 Page 1 of 1 Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
1868 E.
