Limited Site Investigation Irerracon
Vacant Property ■Tracy, California
November 13, 2020 ■Terracon Project No. NA197074
5.1 Soil Analytical Results
Based on the data collected during this limited site investigation, TPH-GRO was reported at
maximum concentrations of 2,300 mg/Kg at 8 feet bgs in soil boring SB7, near the pipeline area,
and TPH-GRO extended to a depth of 14 feet bgs. TPH-GRO was not reported above the
laboratory reporting limits in the sample collected at SB7 at a depth of 20 feet bgs, which supports
that the vertical delineation of impact was achieved at this location.
TPH-DRO was reported at maximum concentrations of 5,000 mg/Kg at 8 feet bgs in soil boring
S137, near the pipeline area, and TPH-DRO extended to a depth of 14 feet bgs. TPH-DRO was
not reported above the laboratory reporting limits in the sample collected at SB7 at a depth of 20
feet bgs, which supports that the vertical delineation of impact was achieved at this location.
TPH-MORD was reported at maximum concentrations of 5,000 mg/Kg at 8 feet bgs in soil boring
S137, and TPH-MORO extended to a depth of 14 feet bgs. TPH-MORO was not reported above
the laboratory reporting limits in the sample collected at S137 at a depth of 20 feet bgs, which
supports that the vertical delineation of impact was achieved at this location. TPH-MORD was
also reported at a concentration of 5,400 mg/Kg at SB 14 at a depth of 8 feet bgs from the stockpile
material.
Several VOCs were reported in samples collected from the site, but only 1,1,2-Trichloroethane
was reported above Commercial/Industrial SLs and RSLs at a maximum concentration of 26
mg/Kg in soil sample SB14-8 from the stockpile soil.
OCPs were not reported above laboratory reporting limits in the soil samples collected.
CHs were reported in sample S138-1 above the laboratory reporting limit, but did not exceed
applicable SLs or RSLs.
The soil analytical results are summarized in Table 1 of Appendix B.
6.0 INVESTIGATION DERIVED WASTE
A total of eight 55-gallon drums of drill cuttings and two 55-gallon drums of decontamination rinse
water were containerized during the field activities. Each drum was properly secured and labeled
prior to disposal pending laboratory analysis.
Based on the laboratory results presented in Table 1, DTSC's California Characteristics of Toxicity
22 CCR § 66261.24 columns, the soil samples collected during the investigation are non-
hazardous and not considered a regulated waste.
Responsive ■ Resourceful ■ Reliable 6
