3
6.5 The test conformed to SJC Policy EH 02-02(correct depth,diameter,2" gravel,6"water
refill, correct readings recorded). The percolation test conformed to San Joaquin County Policy
EHD 02-02.
6.6 Complete Percolation Test Form (including readings) was provided with REHS
verification signature. The rate was correctly calculated using the last reading. See Appendix
for Test Results Form.
Shallow Test
PERCOLATION
TEST HOLE DATE RATE
1 (Parcel 1) 10/29/2019 27.8 min/in.
*See Results in Appendix.
6.7 Discussion of any potential problems predicted and/or the need for an engineered or
alternative septic system. In this area, the soil is classified as Bruella Sandy loam, hard
substratum, 0 to 2 percent slopes. Due to this classification and percolation rate, a standard septic
system similar to the ones found on neighboring properties would be recommended on the
proposed parcels.
6.8 Discussion of percolation rates in relation to the type, size and location of future leach
fields needed at the site. Based on the results of the percolation rate and the soils profile, it is
Dillon& Murphy's opinion that the subject proposed parcel is suited for a typical on-site sewage
disposal system. The systems should be properly designed and installed according to the current
San Joaquin County criteria for standard septic systems.
7.0 CONCLUSION SECTION
The conclusions of this report are based on the information provided regarding the proposed
development, the use of the subject property, and the site conditions as they existed at the time,we
excavated our test hole and performed the percolation test. It was assumed that the test hole and
percolation test results are representative of the subsurface conditions in the general area.
Our services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions proposed in accordance
with generally accepted engineering principles and practices.
