Summary of Environmental Impacts and Mitigation Measures
Environmental Topic Impact? Mitigation Measure(s)
Level of Significance
After Mitigation
Would the Project conflict with any
local policies or ordinances
protecting biological resources, such
as a tree preservation policy or
ordinance?
No Impact None required. No Impact
Would the Project conflict with the
provisions of an adopted Habitat
Conservation Plan, Natural
Community Conservation Plan, or
other approved local, regional, or
state habitat conservation plan?
No Impact None required. No Impact
Would the Project have a cumulative
effect on biological resources?
Less-than-
Significant
None required. Less-than-Significant
Impact
Cultural and Tribal Cultural Resources
Would the Project cause a
substantial adverse change in the
significance of a historical resource
pursuant to §15064.5?
No Impact None required. No Impact
Would the Project cause a
substantial adverse change in the
significance of an archaeological
resource pursuant to §15064.5?
Potentially
Significant
MM-CUL-1: Inadvertent Discovery of Archaeological Resources. In the
event that potential archaeological resources (sites, features, or
artifacts) are exposed during construction activities for the Project, all
construction work occurring within 100 feet of the find shall
immediately stop until a qualified archaeologist, meeting the Secretary
of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards, can evaluate the
significance of the find and determine whether or not additional study
is warranted. Depending on the significance of the find under the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) (14 CCR 15064.5[f];
California Public Resources Code Section 21082), the archaeologist
may simply record the find and allow work to continue. Avoidance shall
be considered the preferred option for treatment of identified
archaeological resources. If the discovery proves significant under
CEQA, additional work, such as preparation of an archaeological
treatment plan, testing, or data recovery, may be warranted.
Less-than-Significant
Impact
