STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA 95210 <br />October 12, 1977 OCT 141977 <br />SAN JbAQUIN LOCAL <br />�M <br />San Joaquin Local Health District Hr- Alooto CT39 -AA -0 12 <br />1601 East Hazelton Avenue! <br />Stockton, California <br />Gentlemen <br />This letter is in reply to your letter of september 13, 1977 <br />and the Adequacy Cheklist for Report of Disposal Site Information sent <br />with it in regards to the Windeler Ranch Disposal Site. <br />TheWindalor Ranch Disposal Site was approved by the San Joaquin <br />Planning Commission in 1966 and has been in operation since that time. <br />priorto approval of the County Planning Commission, notification of <br />the proposal was sent to the Regional Water Quality Control Board and <br />to the State Reclamation Board. There comments are reflected in the <br />conditions imposed by the County Planning Commission, A copy of these <br />is enclosed. <br />The disposal site is located in an anricultual field adjacent <br />to the westerly levee of the San Joaquin'-,#L.,Vsr- In 1908 or thereabouts, <br />the San Joaquin River Flooded the area and I gouged out an irregularly <br />shaped hole up to'.15 feet deep where it left its bank.
