i SECTION 10 . ROLE OF COUNTY FOR COLLECTION AND DELIVERY OF WASTEWATER A. Any person constructing facilities requiring a connec- tion; shall construct and bear the local share of costs for engineering.,; construction, inspection and contract administration for each of those ,- . certain new facilities required to effect a connection between County' s existing sewerage and City' s Regional System. B. For the purposes of this Agreement the designated locations . shall be known as the points of delivery. ' ' County, agrees to collect .and convey wastewater to the Region'al_.System .in .such mariner,- as tp comply with all terms of - this : ,. ;Agreement and -with all applicable' law s, rules and regulations . As to any wastewater facilities which may be located andjw constructed upon property presently owned or within the rights of way .of County, County-hereby grants City the right to enter upon such property as is determined by City to be required for the operation and maintenance .of said wastewater facilities, including but not limited to pumping stations, metering devices, force mains , and trunk sewers ., Prior -to the exercise of the above right of entry, City shall contact the Director of Public--Works of County or his designated representative. at least 48 hours in advance of the proposed entry and obtain approval of said entry.; the above requirement shall not ,apply to emergency situations necessitating immediate action or for normal operation and maintenance activities. E. Upon annexation of-all- or any portion of an unincor- porated area, ' the County agrees to transfer to the City any and all wastewater facilities within the annexed area , including but not limited to pumping stations, metering devices , force mains , and trunk sewers . .
