All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine 1.0 ppm. Provide between 2 to 10 ppm. Pool is closed. <br /> VIOLATION DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br /> maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br /> cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 <br /> ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS: pH <7.0 (management tested with their own kit and showed 6.8 to 6.6). Provide pH between 7.2 and <br /> 7.8. <br /> VIOLATION DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br /> letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified.
