During pathogen reduction, active compost shall be maintained under aerobic condition at temperature of 131 F or higher for the period of 15 days or longer, and there shall be a minimum of 5 turnings of the windrow. 2. The operator shall not give away or sell compost unless it is undergone pathogen reduction as stated in 14CCR17868.3. - Temperature Monitoring Comments: There is no record of temperature monitoring for the November and December. 1. Temperature of the compost must be taken daily. 2. Maintain a record of daily temperature monitoring and make it available for inspection upon request. Reduction Methods Comments: There is no record of pathogen reduction methods for November and December. 1. Operator shall maintain record of pathogen reduction method, that includes daily temperature monitoring and date of windrow turning. 2. Pathogen reduction record shall be made available for inspection upon request. 1. According to the operator, sample was taken on December 5, 2013. The result will be available in 2 weeks. 2.
