Contact the local fire department , the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District , and the <br /> San Joaquin County Community Development Department for any applicable permits and <br /> requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work . All new addenda supersede the previous ones . <br /> 3 . Provide written notification to ust a( sigov . org to arrange the following appointments (a 48- hour <br /> notice is required for inspection appointments) . Please be aware that inspections for <br /> emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit approval . <br /> a . Overfill prevention verification : measurement of probe to verify 90 % tank volume shut <br /> off. Verification of probe functionality . Ensure that all pertinent tank chats and <br /> calculations are available for review at the time of inspection . <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the diesel UST system or receive fuel in the <br /> diesel tank prior to the EHD inspection and approval. <br /> 4 . Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications : <br /> a . Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid , <br /> current contractor' s licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board ( may be <br /> issued to the installation company) , or a Tank Tester' s license issued to the individual by <br /> the State Water Board <br /> b . Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br /> present at the work site who possesses a valid , current California UST Service Technician <br /> certificate issued by the International Code Council ( ICC ) <br /> 1868 E .
