Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately.Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> #30 Food Storage/Display Properly Labeled <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Saw some food items on floors.All food shall be displayed 6 inches above floor. <br /> NOTE: For safety even non food items shall be off floors to prevent customers/employees from tripping over them. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Food shall be stored in approved containers and labeled as to contents. Food shall be stored at least 6" <br /> above the floor on approved shelving. (114047, 114049, 114051, 114053, 114055, 114067(h), 114069(b)) <br /> #33 Nonfood Contact Surfaces Clean <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Shelves at retail are not clean. They are either dusty or have old spills.They shall all be detailed cleaned <br /> by 2 weeks and as needed. <br /> Windows/window ledge are not clean. Clean by 2 days and as needed. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All nonfood contact surfaces of utensils and equipment shall be clean. (114115(c)) <br /> #45 Floors,Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Floors and floor edges/corners are not clean. Some floor areas are black.All floors shall be detailed <br /> cleaned by 2 weeks and as needed. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:The walls/ceilings shall have durable,smooth,nonabsorbent,light-colored,and washable surfaces. All floor <br /> surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth,durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br /> cleanable.Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas,except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br /> unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
