BruscaAssociates.com ● P.O. Box 332, Roseville, CA 95661 ● Phone (916) 677-1470

November 7, 2017

Buzz Oates Development and Construction Services
Attention: Cybil Bryant
555 Capitol Mall, Ninth Floor
Sacramento, CA 95814

ADDENDUM TO SOIL GAS MONITORING WORKPLAN
MURPHY PARKWAY PROPERTY
APN 198-012-009
17100 Murphy Parkway
Lathrop, California
Brusca Project No. 137-002

As requested, we have prepared this Addendum to the Soil Gas Monitoring Workplan prepared
by our firm and dated August 10, 2017.1 This Addendum presents minor modifications to the
planned soil gas monitoring program at the subject property based on review comments
presented by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) via email.

The SJCEHD has indicated that the installation and monitoring of two new soil gas wells along
the westerly property margin is required. The referenced Workplan indicated a depth of ten feet
for the two soil gas wells. This depth was selected so that the wells would usually be above the
groundwater level (past groundwater data from the site indicates typical groundwater depths
ranging from about nine to 15 feet). As requested by the SJCEHD, the actual groundwater depth
the time of soil gas well installation will be determined, and the wells will be installed to a depth
about one to two feet above the groundwater level at that time.

The referenced Workplan indicated a soil gas well sampling frequency of quarterly for a period
of five years. As required by the SJCEHD, the sampling frequency will be increased to monthly
for the first year, and then will be quarterly for the remainder of the five-year period.

This Workplan Addendum will be submitted to the SJCEHD for review and comment prior to
implementing the work. If you have any questions or require additional information, please
contact the undersigned at (916) 677-1470.

1 Brusca Associates, Inc.; “Soil Gas Monitoring Workplan, Murphy Parkway Property, APN 198-012-009, 17100
Murphy Parkway, Lathrop, California”; August 10, 2017.
