The EHD made inspections on July 14, 2005, July 6,
2006, August 22, 2007 and June 24, 2008 and found the pool to be either cloudy,
dirty or drained halfway.
The EHD finds that the owners of this pool need to take action to bring the pool into
compliance by repairing the pool to make it operational, by draining the, pool
completely and provide secure fencing to prevent entry, or by obtaining a demolition
permit from the City of Stockton Building Department to destroy the pool.
The operation of this pool may be breeding mosquitos because of standing water.
Failure to secure this pool structure is a violation of California Health and Safety
Code, Section 115700 (abandon evacuation). Please advise this department within
two weeks of your intent and the actions you will take to correct this hazardous
situation in order to prevent further legal action.
Any questions you have may be directed to Raymond Borges, Lead Senior
Registered Environmental Health Specialist, at (209)468-3284.
Jeff Carruesco, REHS, RDI
Program Coordinator
Cc: San Joaquin County Mosquito & Vector Control
City of Stockton Code Enforcement
