The following is an itemized list of RCRA hazardous waste violations that have not <br /> been addressed for WINE COUNTRY CARE CENTER as of December 01 , 2021 . <br /> Open violations from August 01 , 2019 inspection <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #125 - Failed to report program data in the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS ) . <br /> OBSERVATIONS : A submission to the California Electronic Reporting System ( CERS ) for the hazardous waste <br /> program has not been made . <br /> REGULATION : Beginning January 1 , 2013 , all businesses are required to submit all new (or any changes to <br /> existing ) hazardous waste information online to the CERS at http: //cers . calepa . ca . gov, <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately create a CERS account and make the required submittals . Be sure to include <br /> your hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any other relevant activities <br /> and required fields . <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date) : <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation : <br /> Violation #202 - Disposed or caused disposal of HW at an unauthorized point. <br /> OBSERVATIONS : According to Christine Som , nurse , the empty Warfarin blister packing patient information is <br /> removed and shredded and the blister packing is discarded in the trash . All pharmaceutical wastes , including <br /> Warfarin , are placed in the pharmaceutical waste container with no distinction being made to separate Resource <br /> Conservation and Recovery Act ( RCRA) hazardous waste from other pharmaceutical wastes . <br /> REGULATION : The disposal of any hazardous waste , or the causing thereof, is prohibited when the disposal is at a <br /> facility which does not have a permit from the department issued pursuant to this chapter, or at any point which is <br /> not authorized according to this chapter. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION : Immediately stop discarding empty Warfarin blister packing , which is RCRA hazardous <br /> waste , in the trash . Immediately stop disposing of waste Warfarin tablets and all other RCRA hazardous waste as <br /> pharmaceutical waste . Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste will be <br /> managed in the future . <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br />
