Box 1810 <br />Stockton, California 95201 <br />Re: 5 YEAR PERMIT REVIEW, Corral Hollow Landfill, San Joaquin <br />County, #39 -AA -005 <br />The Corral Hollow Landfill solid waste facility located on Corral <br />Hollow Road and Highway 580, Tracy, has been reviewed by San <br />Joaquin County Public Health Services, Division of Environmental <br />Health (LEA) in accordance with the California Code of Regulations, <br />Title 14, Chapter 5, Article 3, Section 18213. <br />The LEA has reviewed and evaluated the following documents: <br />1. Report of Waste Discharge dated August, 1988. <br />2. Periodic Site Review dated January 30, 1989. <br />3. Report of Disposal Site Information dated January 30, 1989. <br />4. Solid Waste facilities permit #39 -AA -005 dated March 16,1983. <br />5. California Regional Water Quality Control Board waste <br />discharge requirements dated April 5, 1989. <br />Upon review of the above documents and an on-site inspection at the <br />facility on July 20, 1990, it is the determination of the LEA that <br />there is a significant change in the current design and operation <br />of the solid waste facility. <br />It is further determined that these significant changes of the <br />existing permit will require a permit revision and a CEOA review. <br />The LEA recommends that these changes listed below be incorporated <br />into the new revised permit. <br />1. The new operator of the landfill is San Joaquin County <br />Department of Public Works. The city of Tracy is no longer <br />the part-owner and operator of the landfill. San Joaquin <br />County is now the only owner of the landfill. <br />2. Implementation of a hazardous waste screening program. <br />A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
