Wind Velocity <br />Historical wind data indicates prevailing wind is from the West/North West. Wind <br />velocity varies, but is usually low and seldom more than twenty MPH. Complaint Response Protocol <br />An odor complaint receipt procedure is an integral part of the OZMP. The information <br />provided by the complainant can be extremely valuable to the site operations <br />personnel. The following odor response protocol will be put in place: <br />A sign will be posted, giving the name and phone number of the company. When a <br />complaint is received, designated site personnel will <br />1. Obtain name, address and phone number of complainant. <br />2. Record time, location and nature or characteristics of the odor and record <br />that information to review for operational trends (see 5). <br />3. If practical, proceed to the location of the complainant to verify that the site <br />is responsible for the odor, and that the odor is not coming from another <br />location. If not practical to go to the location of the complainant, investigate <br />any probable odor sources and implement operational changes to minimize <br />odors. <br />4. If warranted, meet with the complainant within a reasonable time frame to <br />discuss the nature of the source of the odor and what operational changes <br />are proposed and/or will be implemented. <br />5.
