Valley Organics, Inc.
Application — Site Approval Exhibit B
Storm Drainage
No additional storm drainage will be created by the proposed improvements. All
water applied to the materials during processing will be absorbed or will
evaporate.
Lighting
Operations will be during daylight hours only; no lighting will be required.
Water Discharge Permit
As noted under Storm Drainage, any water applied to the material during
processing will be absorbed or evaporate.
Traffic Impact Mitigation
There should be no impact on area traffic. What few vehicle trips there will be
will access the site from Interstate 5 along Frewert Road.
Hazardous Material Management Plan
No hazardous materials will be stored on site. Fuel for the equipment will be
transported to the site on a daily basis in the truck assigned to the project.
Since all equipment is self -powered, only the well pump would be affected by a
utility service interruption. If from time to time the electrical service to the
property is interrupted, water can still be obtained by gravity feed from an 800
gallon water tank that will be installed on site.
In rare cases of long term utility failure, a portable diesel generator will be
moved to the site to provide power.
Odor Management
The site is located in an agricultural area.
