(RWQCB), Central Valley Region, to conduct a radius <br />search for water supply wells within a '/2 -mile radius of the subject property located at <br />920 W. Frewert Road in Lathrop, California (herein referred to as the "Site"). It is our <br />understanding that your plan to operate a green waste composting facility at the Site and that the <br />RWQCB has requested a limited evaluation of baseline groundwater use and conditions in the local <br />area in conjunction with permit the facility (Reference 1). <br />•C�. RC1, <br />This workplan (Workplan) provides supporting information for the application by Valley Organics <br />Inc. to conduct green waste composting operations at the Site. The purpose of this Workplan is to <br />gather groundwater data useful for evaluating baseline groundwater conditions for future <br />comparison and evaluation of potential risks and groundwater affects from facility operations. The <br />Workplan defines sampling rationale, locations and number of samples to collect, field techniques <br />to be utilized, and analytical procedures. In addition, the Workplan presents a methodology for <br />conducting the well radius search, Based on our understanding of the RWQCB's request, the <br />Workplan defines the collection of one groundwater sample fi•om an existing; on -Site supply well <br />and sample analysis of specific constituents. <br />580 N.
