Will the food arrive in an open top truck?
Harvest is not a collection company and relies on collection companies to deliver food scraps and yard
trimmings. I am not aware of any food scraps collection programs in the project area using open top trucks for
collection. I would expect most food collection vehicles would be traditional front- and rear -loading solid waste
trucks.
2. Will the food waste compost, with the cover, be in one location or dispersed throughout the facility?
It is likely that there will be both windrows with food scraps and windrows without food scraps. There may be
marketing reasons to have dedicated, non-food scraps windrows. So windrows with food scraps will be
dispersed around the facility.
3. Is digestate still off the table?
Yes. Harvest is no longer proposing to include any liquid or solid digestate as a potential feedstock. I have
removed the inadvertent reference to digestate in the GIMP. Revised copy attached.
Please let me know if I can clarify any of these responses.
Thanks for your quick turnaround on this.
Integrated Waste
Management Consulting, LLC
19375 Lake City Road C A NNE®
