ACTION CODE C: The perimeter of the tank bottom his edge settlement rap <br /> to a 4.00-inch drop over a 35.25-inch distance from the shell in the worst area. The tank <br /> shell has settled significantly around the perimeter, resulting in deformation of the bottom <br /> plate near the shell-to bottom joint_ The elevation date indicates that edge settlernent <br /> exceeds the permissible criteria (ref. API 653, Annex B, Para_ B_ )_ Magnetic Particle <br /> (MT) testing of the internal shell-to-bottorn weld revealed zero (0) defects_ This edge <br /> sett€emerrt was last evaluated in 2009 by others. No significant changes in setden nt <br /> have occurred over this I D-year period. Daring the 2009 inspection.
