INTRODUCTION <br /> Our office was contracted by Pastor Matt Linder of Central Valley Baptist Church, to <br /> conduct a soil suitability/nitr--ate loading study(SS/NLS) for a proposed church facility to be <br /> located at 10948 S. Airport Way,Manteca,California. A site plan for the project was prepared <br /> by Quartaroli &Associates, Manteca. The Assessors Parcel Number is 204-020-04 containing <br /> 16.67 acres (Plate 1).-The San Joaquin County Community Development Department Use' <br /> Permit Number is UP-01=9. _ <br /> This SS/NLS was required by the Sart Joaquin County Environs-rental Public Health. <br /> Services, Environmental Health Division forproject approval. The ISS/NLS,was conducted to <br /> determine whether the proposed patcel,.is suitable for the use of aseptic system and the septic <br /> systems potential impact to grourid-water quality. ,The study was performed according to the <br /> requirements.of Section 9-1105-2(d),Of the San Joaquin County Development.. <br /> Our office understands San Joaquin County Public Health Services;Environmental <br /> Health has required a SS/NLS as,a condition for a use perrili.t. The scope of work for the SS/NLS <br /> included drilling a soil boring, a percolation test, an examination of the published soil <br /> information,'geologic maps; available ground water information, exploratory-borings hogs, <br /> �• percolation rates, and a septic and well permit record search.'In addition, a ground-water sample <br /> was analyzed for nitrate and.DBCP. <br />
