Previous area of concern regarding the total amount of material on site being over 12,500 cubic
yards has been corrected. The total amount of material on site was 5,281 cubic yards. Facility was
instructed to implement a method of determining both vertical and lateral measurements on site. For
vertical measurements, the facility has a 12 foot pole with measurements at 4 foot intervals. Add
measurements at 1 foot intervals. For lateral measurements, the facility has 7 circular monuments
on the ground (each approximately 1 foot in diameter and at 50 foot intervals around the feedstock,
ground up material and product piles). Implement a method to ensure that these monuments do not
move along the ground (such as adding a stake and welding).
2. Previous area of concern regarding an increase in fly population and litter accumulation along the east
side of the property has been corrected. Facility has implemented "Maxforce,°a chemical to control
the fly popluation. On the previous inspection report, it was recommended that the records showing the temperatures
and turnings of the windrows indicate the pathogen reduction period. The records now show the
pathogen reduction period as highlighted for each windrow that has completed the period.
6. The temperatures of the windrows ranged between 82 F and 123 F. The temperatures of the
feedstock, the ground up material, the pre-screened product, and the screened product was 90 F,
125 F, 118 F, and 106 F respectively.
