During the inspection the feedstock pile(still slightly smoldering)was being moved and separated
into individual piles in order to lower the temperature.
3. The temperature range was
112 F-124 F.
5. It is recommended, in order to prevent future fires, that the feedstock pile is kept to a smaller
volume by maintaing multiple piles. It is also recommended that multiple temperatures at varying
heights be taken for the feedstock pile(s). Further incidents of fire may lead to these
recommendations becoming requirements. Further incidents of fire may also lead to other
requirements by the EHD.
