The report was dated 4/17/13. The operator, <br /> after receiving this report, sent in another sample from the same pile on 4/19/13. A report, dated 4/24/13, stated <br /> that the fecal coliform level was 43 MPN/1g. <br /> 1. Operators that produce compost shall ensure that the density of the fecal coliform in compost <br /> shall be less than 1,000 MPN/1g. <br /> 2. Operator has been instructed to update the RCSI to describe the method of collection of the <br /> samples from the compost product that will be used for fecal coliform analysis(as well as for <br /> metal concentration and Salmonella). <br /> N' <br /> 1011 IfSrtf.Q151 Isrr ,M ,„. »„pAw”, " }xis. � u rv� x .,, �;, „tll r <br /> Routine monthly compost inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted: <br /> 1. Previous area of concern regarding physical contaminants in the manually screened <br /> greenwaste pile has been corrected. <br /> 2. The newly deposited unscreened greenwaste was separated from the manually screened <br /> greenwaste pile. <br /> 3. The fly population and odors were light. <br /> 4. All records were available for review. <br /> 5. The temperature of the greenwaste and overs was 86 F and 94 F respectively. The <br /> temperature of the wood waste and ground wood waste pile was 80 F and 118 F <br /> respectively.The temperature of the screened product was 100 F. The temperature <br /> range of the windrows was 105 F to 153 F. <br /> 6. Facility has begun directly receiving ground material. During the inspection,ground <br /> material was observed being off loaded in the windrow area from a truck from 'IGilton.” <br /> Operator was instructed to update the RCSI to reflect this new apsect in operation. <br />
