Laura Sauers received spill report MURO <br /> from Alex Steele for 40 gallons of Mineral Oil released at 3730 N. Murray Rd., <br /> Linden, CA 95236. <br /> Called Alex Steele, 209-337-8902. Alex indicated the released was from a downed <br /> utility pole that occurred last night, Sunday, 02-09-20. Site is away from people in <br /> farm land. Spill was stabilized. Absorbent was applied and has been coned off. No <br /> water ways were impacted. They expect excavate on Thursday, Feb. 13 upon <br /> USA clearance. <br /> 2-14-20 Update: On 02-11-2020 1 forwarded the email from Laura Sauers with <br /> complaint number to Lead Senior Elena Manzo (EHD) and Elianna Florido (EHD) <br /> who was on call on 02-11-2020 and added complaint and cleanup information <br /> including cleanup to be done on Thursday due to USA requirement. <br /> 02/13/2020 10:00 AM: Received a call from Alex Steele letting me know that Dave was ALANIZ <br /> almost done with the cleanup. Alex told me to be at the site at 11:00 a.m. The <br /> spill he mentioned was not one that I was aware of. He said that he had reported <br /> it on Monday. <br /> 11:58 AM: Left for the site. Arrived there at 12:24 PM. Met with Dave Larsen, <br /> PG&E. A car was suspected to have hit the pole knocking the transformer over. <br /> 40 gallons of transformer oil was released onto asphalt(road)and dirt. The <br /> asphalt was cleaned using absorbent. The dirt was dug using an excavator. A <br /> hole 10 feet long, 1.5 feet deep, and 1.5 feet wide was dug paralleling the road. <br /> The staining on the asphalt covered 4x5 ft. Approximately 8 yards of <br /> soil/absorbent was generated. The oil had been sampled and came back as <br /> non-detect for PCBs. The soil was going to be treated as non-hazardous. <br /> Dave had made a stockpile from the digging when I had arrived on site. There <br /> was already 6 yards of soil in the roll off bin. Discussed with Garrett Backus, Lead <br /> Senior. Left the site at 12:34 PM. Arrived back to the EHD at 1:06PM. <br /> Was searching for the complaint when I discovered that nothing had been done <br /> for it. Took over the complaint. Wrote the notice to abate and emailed it to Alex <br /> Steele at<R2Sv@pge.com>. Alex had emailed the PCB results. Filled out all of <br /> the complaint information and completed the Prop 65. <br /> 02/13/2020 Provided information on the 02-09-20 PG&E release to John Alaniz. MURO <br /> 04/03/2020 Downloaded photos to the H drive and completed the photo log from the ALANIZ <br /> 2/13/2020 site visit. <br /> 5105.rpt Page 1 of 2 <br />
