The application of waste to cropland shall be at rates that preclude <br /> development of vectors or other nuisance conditions and meet the conditions <br /> of the certified Nutrient Management Plan. <br /> 7. Land application areas that receive dry manure shall be managed through <br /> implementation of erosion control measures to minimize erosion and must be <br /> consistent with a certified Nutrient Management Plan. <br /> 8. All process wastewater applied to land application areas must infiltrate <br /> completely within 72 hours after application. <br /> 9. Process wastewater shall not be applied to land application areas during <br /> periods when the soil is at or above field moisture capacity unless consistent <br /> with a certified Nutrient Management Plan (see Attachment C). <br /> 10. If the monitoring data in the Summary Report indicate that the Dischargers <br /> Land Application Area may have discharges that violate Groundwater <br /> Limitation F.1 of this Order, or that such discharges may cause degradation to <br /> high quality waters, the Dischargers are required to implement management <br /> practices/activities (BPTC for high quality waters or best efforts for waters that <br /> are not high quality) that will bring the facility into compliance with <br /> Groundwater Limitation F.1 on a time schedule that is as short as practicable. <br /> 11. Dischargers enrolled under the RMP shall implement the recommended <br /> management practices that are applicable to Land Application Areas in <br /> accordance with the SRMR and its approved time schedule. <br /> If the SRMR indicates that the Dischargers Land Application Areas may have <br /> discharges that violate Groundwater Limitation F.1 of this Order or that such <br /> discharges from Land Application Areas may cause degradation to high <br /> quality waters, Dischargers are required to implement the approved SRMR's <br /> identified management practices/activities for Land Application Areas that will <br /> bring the facility into compliance with Groundwater Limitation F.1. Such <br /> practices are considered to constitute best practical treatment or control or <br /> best efforts and are designed to achieve compliance with Groundwater <br /> Limitation F.1 on a time schedule that is as short as practicable. <br />
