SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (Live Oak) was contracted by Anthony Rose to <br /> conduct a Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study for his property located at <br /> 3511 Jamie Court, Acampo, California. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study are combined under this report <br /> cover and presented as two sections of this report. The formatting of the report has <br /> been designed to follow the recommendations of the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil Suitability Study <br /> Requirements Checklist and Nitrate Loading Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> The Soil Suitability Study and Nitrate Loading Study were conducted to determine <br /> whether the soils are suitable for use with a septic system, as well as to estimate if the <br /> use of septic systems will impact ground water quality. The study was performed <br /> according to the requirements of Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County <br /> Development code. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> Mr. Rose plans to construct a two-bedroom second unit dwelling on the Site. <br /> Site Description <br /> The Site is defined as Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 005-330-01, 2.01 acres in size. <br /> The Site is located at 3511 Jamie Court, Acampo (Plate 1). <br /> A four-bedroom house is currently located on the Site. A domestic well and septic <br /> system serve the house (Plate 2). <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic <br /> map, is approximately 55 feet above mean sea level. The Site is relatively flat (Plate 3). <br /> According to the San Joaquin County District Viewer (sjmap.org), the Site is zoned R-R, <br /> Rural Residential. This zoning designation "is intended to provide for large lot rural <br /> homesites within or adjacent to existing Rural Communities. Lots will generally have <br /> sufficient area to allow for individual water supply, sewage disposal, and storm water <br /> drainage, but not to support significant commercial agriculture" (San Joaquin County <br /> Community Development Department. <br /> LOGE 20-56 Page 1 <br /> i <br />
