(San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Section 8-5601) <br /> ENFORCEMENT AND COST RECOVERY <br /> Pursuant to the San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Section 8-5601, the existence of an unsecured <br /> building(s) is a public nuisance. Notice is hereby given that the property mentioned above is hereby <br /> declared a public nuisance and dangerous to the health and safety of the inhabitants of said San Joaquin <br /> County because the unoccupied house, garage, building, or other structure(s) has unsecured opening <br /> into which free entry may be made. <br /> The structure(s) must be securely closed by boarding up with materials, which will disallow entry by <br /> unauthorized persons, and must be maintained in such condition at all times while unoccupied. (Other <br /> methods of securements may be approved by the Environmental Health Department). <br /> Failure to secure the building(s) within ten (10) days may cause San Joaquin County to have such <br /> boarding up completed. The cost of such securement will be the responsibility of the legal owner. If not <br /> paid on the property tax of the affected property.
