Pawn Yee's Permanent Cosmetics
After Care ,56eet for Fermanent Ma6up
- Apply Aquaphor to new procedure five times a day for five days. If sealant is not
kept on, the procedure will dry, scab, and flake off, which will take color out. If a
scab forms, sealant is not necessary anymore because it cannot be reversed.
- If the sealant burns continuously, stop and use vitamin E oil instead. The
coverage is not as good, but it's adequate.
- Use natural tears eye drops at least five times a day or as necessary.
- You may experience puffy eyes, swelling in the morning, or light bruising around
the area.
- To reduce any swelling, place an ice pack on the area in 20 minute intervals.
Even if the area is not swollen immediately, it has been traumatized. Icing will
help minimize swelling the day after the procedure. You can make a good ice pack
by putting frozen peas in a zip-lock lunch bag. Place a wet paper towel between
your skin and the ice bag.
- Do not scratch, pick, or treat areas with new makeup because it will cause you
to lose color.
- Do not swim, soak in hot tubs, or take extensive baths for 10 days. Water will
not hurt the procedure, but steam will.
- Do not use makeup on or around a new procedure until it heals. Not only can it
remove color, but it can also cause an infection. However, if you must, use only
new makeup because it does not contain high bacteria levels.
- Signs and symptoms of infection, include, but are not limited to, redness,
swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, red streaks going from the procedure
site towards the heart, elevated body temperature, or purulent drainage from the
procedure site.
- Signs and symptoms that indicate the need to seek medical care may be
purulent drainage from the procedure site or elevated body temperature. Always
seek medical care regarding any questions on infection of procedure site.
