HSC 119314-Workstation,surfaces, including chairs, armrests, etc. in good repair <br /> OBSERVATIONS: <br /> Absorbent decorations were observed at various locations of the procedure area. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: <br /> All surfaces and objects in the procedure area, including chairs, armrests, tables, countertops, and trays, shall be in good repair <br /> and capable of being disinfected. All counter surfaces and service trays in the procedure area shall have a smooth, durable, <br /> and nonabsorbent finish. Remove absorbent decorations from the procedure areas. Provide EHD with photographic evidence. <br /> 35. HSC 119313 -Operation and employee training records present <br /> OBSERVATIONS: <br /> The Infection Prevention and Control Plan should be updated. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: <br /> Operation and employee training records shall be maintained for 3 years and made available for inspection. A written Infection <br /> Prevention and Control Plan (IPCP) shall be maintained, followed and updated. Update the following sections on the IPCP and <br /> provide a copy to the EHD: <br /> - Section G2 should be updated to remove"breaking off heads of razors" prior to disposing razors into sharps containers. <br /> This is a safety hazard. <br /> - Section P should be updated to include the type of disinfectant used at the facility. <br /> - Section U was left blank. This section should be completed in response to service animals. <br /> Corrections are due IMMEDIATELY! <br /> Notes: <br /> 1. Inspection report emailed to facility owner, Christina Ramirez, at cnramirezQgmail.com and talltalestattooQgmail.com. <br /> 2. Barnett Medical is utilized for sharps waste disposal. <br /> 3. Per Jessie Witt's, a new practitioner by the name of Gregory Pezzoni will be joining the facility. Ensure Mr. Pezzoni is <br /> registered with the EHD prior to offering body art services. <br /> 4. Facility owner is to contact EHD prior to remodeling the facility. <br /> 5. Per Mr. Witt's, Mark Escalante is responsible for his own corrections. A reinspection is scheduled with Mr. Escalante for April <br /> 24, 2025 to review corrections. <br /> 6. The facility has a lounge located next to Mr. Escalante's piercing room. EHD was not given permission to inspect the room. <br /> Mr. Witt stated he will allow EHD to inspect the room on another day. <br /> 7. None of the violations from February 19, 2025 were corrected. <br /> 8. The EHD was informed an autoclave was being used at the facility.
