I <br /> MONITORING RESULTS <br /> Landfill gas monitoring at the Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill indicates that gas migration is <br /> occurring at four of the monitoring well locations. The County has hired a consultant and plans <br /> and specifications are being finalized for a Landfill Gas Control System. In accordance with our <br /> previous discussions with the Environmental Health Division, construction is expected to begin <br /> in the summer of 2000. The County will continue to monitor the probes for landfill gas <br /> quarterly. Effects of gas migration are minimal at this time due to the desolate location of the <br /> Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill. The only residence in the area is approximately one mile from <br /> the site.
