MONITORING RESULTS <br /> The landfill gas monitoring results from the Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill reflect that gas <br /> migration is occurring at four of the monitoring well locations. The County hired a consultant <br /> and plans and specifications have been finalized for a Landfill Gas Control System. In <br /> accordance with our previous discussions with the Environmental Health Division, construction <br /> is expected begin in September of this year. The County will continue its quarterly monitoring <br /> of the probes for landfill gas. Effects of gas migration are minimal at this time due to the <br /> desolate location of the Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill. The only residence in the area is <br /> approximately one mile from the site.
