PCE in the sample from MW-5 continues to show an increasing <br /> trend and was measured at 4.02 gg/l. The landfill has conducted an investigation and is installing a landfill <br /> gas collection system during September and October. Acetone and carbon disulfide were detected at <br /> estimated concentrations in monitoring well SB-1. <br /> TDS, EC, and chloride are also noted as having increasing trends at MW-5; this may be indicative of <br /> leachate impact to groundwater. <br /> The Regional Board has also received the documentation prepared by Emcon/IT (26 July 2000) for the <br /> evaluation for the extent of VOCs along the northern property boundary of the landfill. <br /> RWQCB Staff Signature: g <br /> Date: 25 August 2000 <br />
