PCE in the sample from MW-5 continues to show an increasing
trend and was measured at 4.79 µg/1. The landfill is installing a landfill gas collection system that should be
completed by March 2001.
TDS,EC, and chloride are also noted as having increasing trends at MW-5;this may be indicative of
leachate impact to groundwater.
Nitrate and EC have increasing trends in MW-4 and pH was measured at 6.69.(a decreasing trend).
Acetone was noted in SB-1,but it was also noted in the field blank. The Field Blank sample also indicated
the presence of methylene chloride and MTBE. MTBE was not detected in any of the landfill samples.
Third quarter samples were collected on 31 July 2000.
RWQCB Staff Signature:
Date: 30 November 2000
