Waste <br />PHOTO # 23 <br />Elianna Florido, REHS Page 23 of 33 <br />The waste items listed below were found in a silver container observed in the Ulta Salon and labeled with the words "This tras h can is for Salon color tubes <br />only," "Empty Daily," "Hazardous Waste Satellite Accumulation Area," "Oxidizers: Liquids and Solids," and with the generator name and address (IMG <br />8539-42). The container also contained several bottles and tubes of hair color and hair developer containing hydrogen peroxide, wh ich are classified as <br />oxidizer hazardous waste according to the Potentially Hazardous Waste Management poster (IMG 8552 -5). Christine stated the container is not being <br />emptied daily by the Salon employees, since the container was over half -filled with waste items and the first salon employee for the day would be arriving <br />at 3pm on the date of the inspection. <br />- A 4.0 oz aerosol can of Living Proof Perfect Hair Day dry shampoo (IMG 8543 -4). <br />- A partially filled 128 fl oz container of Barbicide (IMG 8545-6). However, the scanner identified the waste item as a flammable liquid and solid (IMG <br />8547). <br />- At least two 4 fl oz tube of Matrix Socolor Cult semi-permanent hair color (IMG 8548, 8557). However, the scanner identified the waste item as a state <br />managed waste (IMG 8549). <br />- At least two containers of Redken Color Stain Remover pads (IMG 8550, 8557).
