Geosyntec <br /> consultants <br /> Data will be validated according to analytical method specifications, laboratory standard <br /> operating procedures, this QAPP, and applicable guidelines set forth in the following <br /> sources as appropriate: <br /> • U.S. EPA Draft Region 9 Superfund Data Evaluation/Validation Guidance, <br /> R9QA/006.1, December 2001 (USEPA, 2001 b); <br /> • U.S. EPA Contract Laboratory Program National Functional Guidelines for <br /> Organic Superfund Methods Data Review, EPA-540-R-2017-002, January 2017 <br /> (USEPA 2017), or most recent version; and <br /> • U.S. EPA Contract Laboratory Program National Functional Guidelines for <br /> Inorganic Superfund Methods Data Review, EPA-540-R-2017-001,January 2017 <br /> (U.S. EPA 2017), or most recent version. <br /> The data verification/validation task will be performed and documented by the QA <br /> Manager. The QA Manager will assess whether the objectives for the analytical data have <br /> been met and apply appropriate data qualifiers as necessary. In any area not specifically <br /> addressed by the above sources,best professional judgment will be utilized and described <br /> in the data validation document. Data validation qualifiers will indicate whether results <br /> are considered anomalous, estimated, or rejected.
