The 208 sensor is placed in one of the open cups.There are also barriers in the UDCs that <br /> prevent liquid from all areas to reach the sensor. The barriers and multiple low points result in the sensor not located <br /> to detect a leak at the earliest opportunity. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Monitoring equipment shall be maintained to be able to detect a leak at the earliest <br /> possible opportunity. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately relocate this sensor to the lowest point of the UDC 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 306 HSC 25291(e)Failure to remove, analyze, and properly dispose of water in secondary containment(pre-Jul 2003). <br /> OBSERVATION: Liquid was observed in the 91 STP sump and UDCs 1/2 and 5/6. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: If water could enter into the secondary containment by precipitation or infiltration, it <br /> must be removed and disposed of properly. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The service technician removed approximately 2 pints of liquid from the 91 STP sump, <br /> UDC 1/2 and UDC 5/6. Ensure that all sumps and annular spaces are maintained free of liquid. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 5/13/2021. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
