Ulta Beauty#579, 2475 Naglee Rd., Tracy, CA Record ID PR0540931
10/24/2019 CUPA— Haz. Waste
PHOTO# 20
An open basket containing several holes on its sides and located on the ground behind the front cash registers, contained several returned items. Each
returned item was affixed with a "Damage Tag" receipt. Each "Damage Tag" receipt was marked with the following information: "Action: Destroy in Field,"
which hazardous waste tote the returned item/waste should be placed into, a transaction ID number, a UPC number, a User number, a date and time, and
a barcode. According to Jasmin Sekhon, Merchandise Service Coordinator, each day when an item(s) is returned to the store, an employee will scan the
item, print out a "Damage Tag" receipt with the current date and time, tape the receipt to the returned item, and place the returned item into the "Damages"
basket. According to Jasmin, these damages are placed into the appropriate hazardous waste totes, based on the information marked on the receipt, the
morning after the date the item was returned.
Comment continued on page 21.
40 a
Elianna Florido, REHS Page 20 of 26
