MOORE BIOLOGICAL CONSULTANTS
November 24, 2021
Mr. Charlie Simpson
Basecamp Environmental
802 West Lodi Avenue
Lodi, CA 95240
SUBJECT: 23+/- ACRE "3009 POCK LANE SUBDIVISION", CALIFORNIA:
BIOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT
Dear Charlie:
Thank you for asking Moore Biological Consultants to prepare a biological
assessment for this 23+/- acre site in San Joaquin County, California (Figures 1
and 2 and Site Plan in Attachment A). The purpose of this assessment is to
describe existing biological resources in the site, identify potentially significant
impacts to biological resources from industrial development, and provide
recommendations for how to reduce those impacts to a less-than-significant level.
The work involved reviewing databases, aerial photographs, and documents, and
conducting field surveys to document vegetation communities, potentially
jurisdictional Waters of the U.S. and/or wetlands, and potentially suitable habitat
for or presence of special-status species. This report details the methodology
and results of our investigation.
Project Overview
The 23+/- acre site will be developed in to 108 single-family residential lots, each
with a home and ancillary services. Access to the new subdivision will be from
Loomis Road in the northwest corner of the site and from three locations along
Pock Lane. Duck Creek bisects the site and separate networks of new roads will
provide access to the new homes on the north and south sides of the creek.
10330 Twin Cities Road, Suite 30•Galt, CA 95632
(209)745-1159• Fax(209)745-7513
e-mail:moorebio@softcom.net
