I observed cut green onions stored in a covered container in the walk-in refrigerator. <br />I observed prepared fried rice. <br />Chow mein is prepared by taking a sealed bag of pre chopped lettuce from reach-in under counter refrigerator and mixing <br />with sealed bag of chow mein noodles from the walk-in refrigerator and cooking in wok with simple sauce and oil. <br />I did not observed band aids in these food prep areas. <br />I discussed Section 113973 (a) Of the California retail Food Code (Hygienic Practices) with PIC. <br />PIC also let me know that it is policy that if there is an employee that has a cut on their hand, <br />the employee is required to wear the colored band aid that is provided by the facility. <br />The employee is also required to wear elbow length disposable plastic gloves in over the required single use gloves. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
